What is the Tommy Bahama Island Community?
The Island Community provides a forum for guests to share their experiences with us through surveys and other activities. Membership is exclusive, completely voluntary, and free of charge.

Taking Surveys

How frequently will I be invited to share my opinion?
We will look to connect with you a few times a month through surveys and similar activities.

How will I know if there is a survey for me to complete?
We will send you an email invitation with a link to the survey.

You are under no obligation to participate in any survey. However, if after several invitations you do not participate in any surveys, we may consider you an inactive member. Inactive members may be removed from the community if they don't participate in any surveys over a period of time.

How many times can I complete a survey?
You can take any given survey only once.

How much time does it take to complete a survey?
Typical surveys will be between 5 and 15 minutes, depending on the topic.

Are there any rewards for completing surveys?
Details on the available prizes and sweepstakes rules will be provided in the survey invitation.

What happens to the responses I give in a survey?
When you register as a member and when you complete surveys, your information, as well as that of other survey respondents, is collected and reported in aggregated form. All information you share with us is subject to Tommy Bahama's Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use

How do I know you actually received my questionnaire answers?
At the end of each survey is a "Finish" or "Submit" button. Once you have clicked that button, you will see a Thank You page.


What if I can't remember my password?
To retrieve your password, go to https://www.tommybahamaislandcommunity.com and follow the link for "forgot password".

What do I do if I didn't receive the confirmation e-mail?
Depending on your email provider and your personal email settings, some emails sent from an automated system may be diverted directly into your Junk Mail folder. Please check your Junk Mail folder for this email. To avoid this situation, you can add our address to your safe sender list or address book.

If you have checked your Junk Mail folder and have not been able to find a copy of your Confirmation email, please contact Support.

Do I need special hardware or software?
No. Almost any computer with Internet access is sufficient to complete our surveys.

Are there any fees or costs?

What if I have more than one email address?
Many people have several email accounts. If you have more than one email address, please register with the email address you would like us to use when contacting you. In addition, please make sure you add support@tommybahamaislandcommunity.com to your address book. This will ensure you receive our email notifications.

How do I cancel my membership (opt-out)?
As an Island Community member you will receive email invitations to complete online surveys and participate in other activities. To deactivate your membership, you can simply click on the unsubscribe link located at the bottom of the email invitation. Alternatively, you can send an email to support@tommybahamaislandcommunity.com to request removal and you will no longer receive invitations.

What if my registration information changes?
Since your registration information is critical to our sending you the most appropriate surveys, we have developed a place for you to update your information at any time. Simply log in with your username and password and click on "My Profile". Here you can make changes to your email address and password. This will ensure that we are contacting you at the correct email address.
